The BIOASSOBERG Consortium is made up of a group of organic Bergamot producers, whose companies are located in the province of Reggio Calabria in Southern Italy. The Bergamot cultivation area, which accounts for more than 90% of the world production of this citrus fruit, extends for about 100 km along the Ionian coast of Calabria up to the Strait of Messina.
Molecular Integrity
In this area there is a unique microclimate in the world, which allows the perfect ripening of Bergamot fruits, from the skin of which the precious essential oil is extracted. Our low-temperature cold extraction protocol protects the original phytocomplex. Every drop maintains the full natural terpene spectrum, ensuring uncompromising neuro-sedative and antiseptic efficacy.
Global Standards
The fruits harvesting by hand from December to February and taken to small processing centers affiliated with our Consortium, where the extraction of Essential Oil takes place with a cold process. From USDA/EU Organic certifications to FDA registration. We provide international distributors with total traceability and regulatory compliance that redefines the global market parameters.
Soil Stewardship
The Essential Oil extracted is stored in our warehouses and subsequently distributed to buyers all over the world, after accurate chemical-physical analyses and with the appropriate organic certifications. We operate exclusively in the Ionian-Reggio micro-area, the only habitat in the world where Bergamot achieves molecular perfection. We are the guardians of this unique botanical heritage.
